Student Visa

SUBCLASS 500

All international students regardless of the school or course applied for, are eligible for the 500 student visa. Regardless of whether it is in Australia or offshore, all student visa applicants can only submit online applications. The current 500 student visa is no longer required to provide proof of funds, nor it is necessary to provide proof of English proficiency for certain students. However, students should be noted that the immigration office may be more strict in reviewing the authenticity of the personal statement and the consistency of information filled out in the visa application. Therefore, students who are preparing to apply for a student visa by themselves should have a thorough understanding of the conditions. It is highly recommended to contact the consultants of B.Smart Education Consultants for help.

A personal statement is required for all applicants for the student visa. The immigration office will consider each student’s personal factors, immigration history, motivation to return to the home country, and reason to stay in Australia. Conditions and other aspects to assess whether the student’s true intention is a short-term (study) in Australia.

  • Be enrolled in a course of study

Renewal Student Visa

SUBCLASS 500

Students who want to check their visa information can download the myVEVO application on the phone to check. After logging in for the first time: fill in your visa number, passport date of birth, and other information that can be used. Students need to pay attention if they have taken a break, failed, transferred, or your student visa has expired, you need to renew your student visa as soon as possible. If you have graduated and have no upcoming courses, you can consult with consultants of B.Smart Education Consultants to update your CoE.

There are 2 main reasons that can be considered for renewing a student visa: (1) The visa has expired before the course is over.
