Student Subsequent Entrant Visa

You can include your family members when you lodge your student visa application. Your family members include: 1 partner (in a married relationship, or in a De Facto relationship), or your or your partner’s dependent child who is unmarried and has not turned 18 years of age. You also can apply a subsequent entrant visa for your family members at a later time, separate to your main student visa application.

The personal statement is required for each family members when applying subsequent entrant for student visa as well. The immigration office will consider each student’s personal factors, immigration history, motivation to return to the home country, and reason to stay in Australia. Conditions and other aspects to assess whether the student’s true intention is a short-term (study) in Australia.
